SMOKING

Smoking is prohibited in all the public areas of the hotel and in “non-smoking” bedrooms (art. 51 legge n. 3 del 16/01/03 e del DCPM 23/12/03).

PETS

Dogs are welcome in all areas of the hotel, except the Grand Spa Del Mare, in pool areas and in the restaurants.

Service of alcoholic beverages, in all bars open to the public, will finish at 2.00 am. (Legge n. 160 del 02/10/07).

INTERNET

Free Wi-Fi connection in all areas of the Resort.
Upon Check in you will receive the password to be used during your stay at the Resort.

ROOMS

• The use of cooking appliances, open flames and irons is strictly prohibited.
• Electronic safes are available in every guest room and suite.

PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEOGRAPHY & INTERVIEWS

Non-professional photography and filming is permitted on the hotel premises.

The hotel and its surrounding area is a drone-free zone.
Requests  to use any area of the Resort as a location for commercial photo-shoots or filming, may be addressed to gm@ghmresort.com giving prior notice.

CHECK-IN

The Hotel shall accomodate only guest that hold an identity card or valid document establishing the holder’s identity in accordance with current local laws.

The names and the personal details of guests are subject to Hotel notification by electronic means or computer transmission or by fax to the pokice Headqartes within 24 hours from the time of arrival or, for a stay of less 24 hours, immediately (as per Article 35 of Decree 445/2000).

EU citizens are required to present one of the following documents passport, identity card and/or driver’s licence.

Non EU travellers are required to present a valid passport or equivalent document, as indicated in the International Conventions list.

SECURITY

• The entire hotel site is protected with an Intrusion Alarm System, monitored around-the-clock by the hotel Security team.
• An in-house fire, evacuation and first aid brigade is on duty around-the-clock and acts immediately in case of emergency.

REGISTRATION

Access to guest room floors is permitted only after registration at the Front Desk of the Hotel by exhibiting a valid identity document. Registration is required also for anyone wishing to access to guest room floors and the Imperial Club.

MINORS

Is not legally possibile for the Hotel to accept unaccompanied guests that are younger than 18 years old.
The Hotel is permitted to lodge minors of less then 18 provided that they present a state issued ID card or other valid identity document and are accompanied during their stay by their parents or one of them or by a legal guardian in possession of documentary evidence of their appointment or by another adult duly authorised in writing by the parent(s) or legal guardian and with a valid copy of the identification document of the person who issues the authorization.

In the event of minors accompanied by only one of their parents and the latter is unable to prove thei maternity or paternity with a family certificate or birth certificate, the mather or father are required to fill out and sign a self certification document supplied by the Hotel in which they confirm their maternity or paternity of the minor pursuant Article 46 and 47 of Decree 445/2000.

GRAND SPA DEL MARE

• The hotel management reserves the right to close any part of the facility for essential maintenance without prior notice and without entitlement to compensation.
• The hotel is not responsible for any physical harm incurred whilst using Spa and fitness facilities, also arising from prior disorders or illness.
• Access to the Grand Spa del Mare is limited to persons over 16 years of age.
• No dogs or other animals are permitted in the Grand Spa del mare or in pool areas.
• It is compulsory to wear pool slippers or shoe-covers, and bathrobes in the halls and bar area.
• Swimming in outdoor pools is only permitted during opening hours under supervision by pool attendants.

The hotel reserves the right to close the Spa area or facilities to the public, including the swimming pools, including the outdoor one (Oasis Pool Club), for maintenance work and / or for private events without prior notice or without the right to a refund.

CITY TAX

In force from 7 January 2019, the municipality of Bordighera has introduced the City Tax of € 3 per person, per night  (apply only for the first six days of stay), payable by all guests regardless of the rate applied. Free nights are included; instead, children up to twelve years of age are exempt from paying.
