Just 15 minutes from the Grand Hotel del Mare you will find the Cycle-Pedestrian Track of the Riviera dei Fiori Coastal Park, located on the 24 km of the old railway line that from 1872 to 2001 served the Ponente Ligure.
This railway line, portrayed in many books and films thanks to the beauty of the places it crosses, is a true piece of history, witness to the development and changes of the Riviera dei Fiori.
In fact, it was a luxury line, that between the end of the ‘800 and the ’30s of the ‘900 transported Italian nobles and landowners, but also English, Germans and Russians, who came to stay in the Riviera.
Since 2004 it has been revived this enchanting journey, which fascinated artists and intellectuals from all over Europe, making the most of its potential and returning to the community a space on a human scale in the heart of the Riviera.
