This summer, just a few steps away from the Grand Hotel del Mare Resort & Spa in Bordighera, an unmissable event awaits you: Inside Monet VR Experience. This unique digital exhibition brings the masterpieces of the master of Impressionism, Claude Monet, directly in front of your eyes in an “en plein air” experience.
From 1 May to 31 October 2024, in the heart of Bordighera, you can immerse yourself completely in Monet’s art, reliving the emotions and atmospheres that inspired the famous artist during his stay in 1884. Housed at the ‘Pension Anglaise’, Monet painted 38 extraordinary canvases capturing the light, colours, and lush nature of the area.
Thanks to an actor-guide, you will venture on a walk that blends the reality of Bordighera with Monet’s vibrant brushstrokes. Using Virtual Reality visors, at specific stages of the walk you will be transported inside six of his most famous works, including a tribute to the beautiful Ligurian town.
